HOW CAN I TURN THE CHIME SOUND ON OR OFF?

Depending on your system, your control panel may be able to announce which sensor was opened, whether it be a door or a window.

To power on the chime sound or silence it, you’ll use the same command:

  • Press “7” and then “1” on your keypad.

While the chime is enabled, the display will read “Chime Is On ” or “Chime On.”

HOW DO I SET THE TIME AND DATE FOR MY INTERLOGIX CONCORD PANEL?

From the keypad, enter user programming by pressing 9 and the master code. Press # to get to the time set-up. Enter the correct hour (00-23) and minute (00-59). Enter using 24 hr time, 13:30 for 1:30 pm, etc. Press # and the display will show the new time. Press the down arrow next until you see the “Date” Option. Enter the correct month (01-12), day (01-31), and year (00-99) For example, enter 011518 for Jan 15, 2018. Press # and the display will show the new date. Once you have done this, press * and push up twice and it will ask if you want to exit programming. Press # to get out of programming.

HOW CAN I SEND A POLICE ALARM?

In case of an emergency:

  • Press and hold the police buttons on your control panel for 2 seconds.

IF I NEED TO CANCEL A POLICE ALARM, HOW CAN I?

If by chance you accidentally triggered a police alarm, you can cancel it:

  • Press “1” and then enter your access code.

HOW DO I ALARM MY SYSTEM IN “STAY” MODE?

When you’re at home and you’d like to arm the perimeter doors and windows only and not arm the interior devices:

  • Press “2” and then enter your access code.

If the Quick Arm feature is enabled, you don’t need to enter your access code. Simply press “2” on the keypad.

HOW DO I ALARM MY SYSTEM IN “AWAY” MODE?

When you’re leaving your residence and would like arm the perimeter doors, windows, and interior devices:

  • Press “3” and enter your access code.

If the Quick Arm feature is enabled, you don’t need to enter your access code. Simply press “3” on the keypad.

I’M HAVING TROUBLE ALARMING “AWAY” MODE. IT KEEPS SAYING “INVALID.” WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If you aren’t able to alarm “Away” mode, it may be because of your delay door (a designated door/sensor that allows you to exit the residence after alarming your system for “Away” mode.)

Close the delay door and arm the system to “Away” mode.

WHY WOULD I WANT TO CHECK THE STATUS OF MY SYSTEM?

It’s important to regularly check the status of your system. You can make sure that your sensors aren’t open or bypassed without your knowledge (open doors/windows), that your power and backup battery are in good condition, and view the nature of your most recent alarm.

WHEN SHOULD I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY SYSTEM?

You should check the status of your system if:

  1. The system is making 5 short beeping sounds every minute.
  2. Your touchpad is showing “ALARM,” “Police,” “Auxiliary,” or “Fire.”
  3. Your touchpad currently displays the text: “Press Status.”

HOW CAN I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY SYSTEM?

Checking the status of your system is simple! To do a long, full system check:

  • Press the “*” button twice.

Your touchpad and voice module, if you have it, will display and announce the status of your system.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY BATTERY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED?

HOW CAN I TURN ALL MY SENSOR LIGHTS ON OR OFF AROUND THE HOUSE?

To turn off the lights that you have controlled by your system:

  • Press “0” two times.

WHAT DOES “AC POWER FAILURE” MEAN AND HOW CAN I TROUBLESHOOT IT?

If your GE Interlogix Concord Panel LED displays “AC Power Failure” or your voice feedback indicates the same issue, your panel power transformer may be currently unplugged or there may be a power outage.

If your transformer is in fact plugged in, you may want to check the circuit breaker that governs your control panel’s power.

MY LED DISPLAY IS SHOWING “SENSOR XX TAMPER.” WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

This means that the cover on your sensor is either open or completely off. You’ll want to make sure the cover is back on the sensor and then trip the sensor. This will clear the current “Sensor XX Tamper” condition off your LED display.
