We received an e-mail today stating there had been another vehicle break-in at the greenbelt parking lot, across Wolf River from Poplar Estates. As a reminder, please make sure that you vehicle is locked and that you either take your valuables with you, leave them at home, or put them out of site in your car. Don’t make it easy for the criminals to make you a victim.
We would also recommend that if you are out walking on the trail, or anywhere as a matter of fact, to always carry your cell phone with you. Whether you see something suspicious or need emergency medical help your phone can be your life line in a remote area such as the greenbelt.
