Cell radio backup allows the alarm to communicate to us while the phone line is not working. Recently numerous clients have had phone lines cut prior to an attempted burglary. Systems without the cell radio backup monitoring cannot send alarm signals to us when phone lines are cut.
Most of our alarm clients have already added the cell radio backup. Refer to your most recent quarterly invoice to see whether you have this service. There is a one-time setup fee. The cell radio unit takes less than one hour to install, and can be scheduled at a time convenient for you. The monthly service fee is a fraction of most cell phone bills.
